An entirely fictitious birthday story. All events, quotations, organisations and sources below are invented.

Aaron has allegedly brought an imaginary dance floor to a standstill after unveiling a look described by fictional experts as “somewhere between pop superstar and man who has just remembered he left the oven on”. Within seconds, three cameras had asked for a break and a mirror had requested his autograph.

Our invented style correspondent believes the pose was developed through a secret training programme involving a jacket, an excellent playlist and several stern conversations with a reflection. The breakthrough came when Aaron mastered Looking Casual While Clearly Knowing the Camera Is There.

Word reached the entirely fictional Museum of Extremely Confident People, which offered him a position between a wax saxophonist and a mannequin modelling enormous lapels. The proposed plaque read: “Please do not touch. He is preparing for the chorus.”

Aaron’s response, freely invented for comic purposes, was unequivocal: “I can’t stay still that long. There might be a good song on.” The museum withdrew its offer after discovering that its insurance did not cover spontaneous shoulder movements.

An imaginary laboratory tested the pose and found traces of charm, a high concentration of eighties swagger and a low willingness to take any of this seriously. A control group tried to recreate the look. Two laughed, one blinked and the fourth asked where the cake was.

The Scandal Sheet concludes that Aaron remains free to strike whatever pose he chooses. No museums were contacted and no mirrors were interviewed. The only genuine requirement is to turn up ready to celebrate Penny. Bonus points, entirely unofficial, for committing to the outfit.
